Refunds & FAQ

Refund Policy

Refunds may be issued when:

  • A charging session fails due to equipment malfunction.

  • A payment error or duplicate charge occurs.

  • A charging session cannot be started after payment authorization.

  • Other billing issues are verified by ClearPath Solutions.

Completed charging sessions are generally not eligible for refunds unless a verified billing or equipment issue occurred.

Authorization holds are not final charges. If a temporary authorization exceeds the final charging cost, only the actual charging amount will be collected. The remaining authorized funds are released by your bank or card issuer, which may take several business days depending on your financial institution.

To request a refund, please contact our support team and include your charging session details.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I start charging?

Scan the QR code on the charging station, authorize payment using a supported digital wallet, and begin your charging session.

Why do I see a $50 charge?

Before charging begins, a temporary authorization hold (typically up to $50) may be placed to verify available funds. This is not your final charge.

How much will I actually pay?

You will only be charged for the actual cost of your completed charging session, including any applicable taxes or fees.

When will the authorization hold disappear?

Most banks release unused authorization amounts within several business days, although timing varies by financial institution.

What payment methods are accepted?

Supported digital wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay are accepted. Available payment methods may change over time.

What happens if I unplug early?

Your charging session ends, your final cost is calculated, and only that amount is charged.

What if the charger stops working?

If a charger fails due to equipment or system issues, please contact support. Refunds or billing adjustments may be provided when appropriate.
