Welcome to ClearPath Solutions. By accessing or using our website or EV charging services, you agree to these Terms of Service.
1. Our Services
ClearPath Solutions provides access to electric vehicle (EV) charging stations through our website and QR code payment system. Service availability depends on charger availability, equipment status, power availability, maintenance, and other operational factors.
2. Charging Sessions
To begin a charging session, you may be required to scan a QR code located on the charging station and complete payment authorization using a supported digital wallet, including Apple Pay or Google Pay.
A temporary authorization hold (typically up to $50.00) may be placed on your payment method before charging begins. This authorization verifies that sufficient funds are available and is not your final charge.
When your charging session ends, either because you stop the session or disconnect your vehicle, the final cost is calculated based on the applicable pricing shown before the session begins. Only the final amount is captured. Any unused portion of the authorization hold is released by ClearPath Solutions. The time required for the authorization to disappear depends on your bank or card issuer.
3. Pricing
Charging prices, taxes, fees, and any applicable idle fees will be displayed before or during your charging session when applicable.
You agree to pay all charges associated with your charging session.
4. Payments
Payments are securely processed through Stripe. ClearPath Solutions does not store your complete payment card information.
If a payment cannot be authorized or completed, the charging session may not begin or may be terminated.
5. Vehicle Compatibility
You are responsible for ensuring that your vehicle is compatible with the charging equipment provided.
6. Proper Use
You agree to use our charging equipment safely and responsibly. You must not intentionally damage equipment, interfere with other users, tamper with charging stations, or use the service for unlawful purposes.
7. Service Availability
We strive to provide reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Charging sessions may be interrupted due to maintenance, equipment failure, utility outages, internet connectivity issues, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control.
8. Refunds
Refunds may be issued when a charging session cannot be completed due to equipment malfunction, billing errors, duplicate charges, or other circumstances determined by ClearPath Solutions. Refund requests may be submitted through our support contact.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClearPath Solutions is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or charging services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the applicable charging session.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of our services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
